THE VINTAGE CUPBOARD

I am starting the process of giving my kitchen a complete makeover. I have lived in my home for almost 20 years and my kitchen is stuck in the 80’s. I have your basic oak cabinets, they are showing some wear and tear and give my kitchen a dated look. I have lots of cute decorations in my kitchen but if your cabinets are looking bad there is really nothing decorative that you can do to change the look of your kitchen without giving your cabinets a facelift. It’s funny I haven’t done mine yet as that is what I do, I paint people’s cabinets and furniture. I am ready to get started. Come and peak from time to time to see how my project is coming along. I will be posting some before and hopefully sometime soon after pictures for you to see. Maybe you too will want a kitchen makeover. I am going for a French Country look with the cream color with an umber glaze. This is a picture of a kitchen that I really like, I wish it was my kitchen..sigh
